Bishop Randall Lawrence grew up in W.Va. where he attended the Hambleton Pentecostal Church of God as a child and teen ager.  Receiving his call to ministry as a teen ager,  He attended Southern Bible College in Houston, Texas.  Upon Graduation from Bible School, He did some graduate studies at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and then beginning his ministry as a  youth Pastor in Memphis, Tn.   He has been in the Pastoral ministry for the past 31 years.   His first pastorate was at Victory Tabernacle in Thurmont, Md. For 3 years.  Bishop Lawrence felt the call of God to come to Pulaski, Va., in 1986,  where He began Pastoring the Pulaski Pentecostal Church of God, now Abundant Life Ministries.  He has served as Pastor there for the past 27 years. During this time the Church has grown and in the year 2000, they purchased 10 acres of land on 3050 Lee Hwy., and built a new Sanctuary that will seat 400 people.  Over the past 25 years, Bishop Lawrence has also served the Mid Atlantic Coast District in the various ministry capacities:   District Youth Director,  Christian Education Director, and District Board member for over 20 years.  In 2007 Bishop Lawrence was elected to serve as the District Bishop of the M.A.C. District of the Pentecostal Church of  God, where he has served for the past 6 years.

 

Bishop Lawrence loves to serve the people of God. He enjoys time with his family and especially the Grand children.   He loves the outdoors and enjoys hunting and fishing. 

 

Bishop Lawrence has been married to his beautiful, wonderful wife, and ministry partner, Bonna for the past 32 years.   They have 3 children:  Randy Jr. and his wife Dawn, who live in Ft. Worth, Tx., and serve at the Pentecostal Church of God headquarters in Bedford, as Communications Director.  Their daughter Alisha has recently moved to Texas, and is serving at Messenger College with Student Resident Life.   Their younger son Nathan and his wife Brittany, live in Pulaski, Va.   Last but not least, let us tell you about our WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL GRAND children.   They are London Chase, Maia Hope,  Cali Grace,  Jaxon Cooper, and Micah Grace.
